Australia's first legal tender triangular coin was issued by the Royal Australian Mint Canberra to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the opening of Australia's current Parliament House. Uniquely designed and crafted to reflect Australia’s identity Parliament House is the focus of national parliamentary and political life.

The reverse design depicts Parliament House looking upwards to the imposing flagpole from an interior courtyard. The Australian flag flies prominently at the masthead.

Issue limit of 10 000 proofs. The coin is housed encapsulated in an official Royal Australian Mint hinged-lid presentation case accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity and protected by a themed cardboard shipper.
