One of the most highly sought after and difficult to obtain One Dollar coins presented on the original card released by News Corp in collaboration with the Royal Australian Mint in 2015. Only offered to those who participated in the News Corp Subscription programme, many individuals collected the 2015 ANZACs Remembered 20c coins in folder leaving many collectors scrambling to obtain this carded, colourized, limited mintage One Dollar coin that was only offered to new subscibers.

This spectacular $1 coin is struck in Aluminium-Bronze and features a poppy field design with a large central coloured red poppy. At the top is the inscription ‘WWI – War Heroes’, with the coin denomination of ‘1 Dollar’ at the bottom. The obverse side features Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Unlike other One Dollar coins, this colour release has been struck with a ‘frosted’ appearance, and only 13,500 coins have been minted for distribution worldwide.
