2015’s Sydney ANDA Coin Show Special features a spectacular Year of the Goat tribute, celebrating the ideal of good health in the year to come.

The birth dates for people ruled by the Chinese Lunar goat include 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015. Those born under the influence of this sign are said to be elegant, charming, artistic, gifted and calm. Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, no more than 1,500 Sydney ANDA Coin Show Specials will be released worldwide.

Each coin is housed in special ANDA presentation packaging, making it an unforgettable memento from the show that took place in the Sydney Lower Town Hall, 24-25 October 2014.

The Australasian Numismatic Dealers Association (ANDA) is the professional body representing individuals and businesses that deal in coins and banknotes throughout Australasia.

The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured representation of a young mountain goat leaping between two cliff tops. The sun is rising in the background, signifying the dawn of a new day and good health. The inscriptions HEALTH and 2015 YEAR OF THE GOAT also appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2015 year-date are shown on the coin’s obverse.

Accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, the coin is housed in a prestigious latex display case and wonderfully illustrated box-shipper featuring the ANDA logo alongside the dates of the Sydney show.
